How I got into bait cannon fishing..
Fishing is not just a sport; it's a way of life for me. FISH, Eat, Sleep, Repeat. I simply love to fish and to be out on the beach. I really enjoy catching BIG fish in the surf, the tug is the drug. Sometimes in order to catch BIG fish in the surf, you need to be able to get your bait a little further out.
So, I started looking for ways to be able to deploy my bait a little further out in the surf than by simply casting. Thats when I stumbled upon a Facebook group called Bait Cannon Slugs. I started reading and learning and with a lot of help from the administrator of that Facebook page, that's when my very first surf fishing bait cannon was born. The build was completed with the help of a good buddy of mine.
Once my bait cannon was complete, I decided to give it a name, it's the Bait Blaster Surf Fishin' Bait Cannon and let me tell you what, it's a bad dude.

There he sells, just like the name says, bait cannon slugs. These are the weights that you will use to make your frozen bait molds, I usually like to use his 12 oz. version of bait cannon slugs, they are excellent.
Although, I had received a lot of help and learned a great deal by doing a lot of research. I would have really loved to have a set of instructions and a shopping list that we could have followed to make building my DIY surf fishing bait cannon a lot easier.
That's the reason for this website, for a small nominal fee, I am offering a set of plans and instructions to construct a surf fishing bait cannon just like the one we built, that is shown throughout this website.
If I could have found a DIY plan and shopping list to build a surf fishing bait cannon, I would have gladly paid quite a bit more than what I'm offering the plan, instructions and shopping list for here. It will really save you a great deal of time and money.
